Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity
Geek Out for GOSH
Charities are used to facing challenges when it comes to fundraising, however 2020 posed a unique set of problems. The coronavirus pandemic made in-person fundraising events impossible and forced charities to think even further outside the box. Great Ormond Street Hospital approached me to create a film that would promote their fundraising campaign Geek Out for GOSH (GO4G). The campaign encourages gamers to raise money for GOSH by undertaking sponsored challenges in video games.
Given the circumstances, this was an opportunity to try something new. For this project, I learned to use 3D software and create a completely original animated film that depicts video game characters roaming the halls of Great Ormond Street Hospital. The film was created pro bono and will be released sometime in 2021.
